Is there a cost to use UE Connection's services?
For basic information about applying to universities, there is no cost to any student at first. There will be a one-time $100 (USD) processing charge for students who want to take advantage of EDUCATION ADVISORY’s exclusive partnerships with colleges. This price will cover up to 100 applications.
There are many universities and colleges in the United States. How do I choose which one to apply to?
Research your options and define your priorities. Contact the UE Connection advising center and browse college search engines online. Complete the Contact Us form so that we can provide the best universities for you.
I received my degree in a non-English speaking country. Can I still apply to UE Connection?
Yes! Many universities are interested in students with good grades from non-English speaking countries.
What is the academic calendar for universities in the United States?
The academic year usually runs from August through May with breaks for holidays. Most universities use either the semester system (two terms), the quarter system (students attend three out of four total terms), or the trimester system (three terms).
I have not taken any English proficiency tests (IELTS, TOEFL iBT). Can I still apply to a university in the United States?
Yes! Most universities will ask you to take one of these English Language tests as part of the application process. Others will provide an opportunity to study English once you are attending a university.
